Use the POP and SMTP domain names to configure the iPhone Mail app and control your SBC Global account from your device.

  • Firstly, Tap the “Settings” icon in the iPhone home screen to open the Settings menu.
  • Tap the “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” tabs and then tap the “Accounts” option. Your existing email accounts display.
  • Tap the “Add Account” option. A list of available account types displays.
  • Tap “Other” and choose “Add Mail Account.” The New Account form opens.
  • Then Tap the “Name” field and type your name in the field.
  • Tap in the “Email” field and type your SBC Global email address.
  • Type your account passcode in the field.
  • Type a description for the account within the Description field, if desired. Tap “Next.” 
  • Tap the “POP” option at the top of the display screen.
  • 1Type the following domain name in the given Host Name field in the Incoming Mail Server section: inbound.Att.Net
  • Enter your SBC email address in the User Name field, and then type the password for the account in the field. Tap “Next” to show the Outgoing Mail Server form. 
  • Enter the following domain name in the Host Name field in the Outgoing Mail Server section:
  • outbound.Att.Internet
  • Enter your SBC email address in the User Name field, and then type the corresponding password for the account in the Password field.
  • At last, Tap “Save.” The iPhone is configured to send and receive emails from your SBC Global account.
